Writing on Design

Over the past several years, I have been been a contributing writer to the German design publication, Slanted. Working with the editors there has been a wonderful experience, and I’ve relished each opportunity to delve into the lives of a wide variety of artists, designers, and illustrators from many different countries. I’ve been given the freedom to explore in a meaningful way, how each of their lives has impacted their societies, and in turn, left an impression on me and opened my eyes to new ways of seeing. I appreciate the process of writing, the research, the learning, and all the quiet work, that goes into giving structure to the idea and then onto a page. This fruitful collaboration has led to other writing possibilities and being included in a wonderful design anthology which you can read about below.
