Publication Design

Being an avid reader and collector of books, I bring that appreciation to the design of books and publications in general to the studio. Just as with other printed materials, the world of books is also changing, evolving, and moving in tandem with our technologically driven times. One feeds off the other, just as in the history of typography, each technological advancement signals a new era in some aspect of publishing. However, at the end of the day, there is something holistic about the tactile quality of books, that physical quality of a printed object, the feel of the paper, the smell the binding, the weight of it in your hands — all these qualities are what make designing books and publications so special for me and my studio and I look forward to continuing this important aspect of my practice for the foreseeable future.

Shown below, I’ve sectioned off the publications into two groupings. The first section is essentially publications where we designed both the covers and the interiors, while the second grouping consists of book cover designs only.
